About Us

Your Rights, Their Rights

Your Rights, Their Rights is a national advocacy and education initiative created by Chrysalis Community Partners, an organization comprised of seasoned criminal justice professionals with more than 50 years of combined experience in corrections, healthcare, law, and public policy. Rooted in a deep commitment to justice reform and community reintegration, our mission is to empower families, educate communities, and advocate for the fair and humane treatment of incarcerated individuals.

Our leadership team is made up of principal partners who have served in numerous capacities throughout the criminal justice system—from facility operations and program development to executive-level administration and compliance oversight. This diverse experience gives us a unique and credible lens into the systemic challenges and opportunities that shape outcomes within correctional institutions and reentry environments.

Your Rights, Their Rights was established to serve as a meaningful conduit between families and the criminal justice community—working to replace adversarial dynamics with value-based partnerships grounded in collaboration, mutual respect, and accountability. By fostering open dialogue and actionable solutions, we help bridge gaps between incarcerated individuals, their loved ones, and the institutions entrusted with their care.

At our core, we believe informed families are empowered families—and that meaningful reform begins with education, advocacy, and sustained engagement. Through comprehensive courses, advocacy toolkits, and real-world resources, we’re building a national network of justice advocates committed to restoring dignity, protecting rights, and driving positive change from the inside out.
